Some hotdog manufacturers are getting a ‘clue’ and making hotdogs that are good for you! Hebrew National is one that is widely distributed that is allowed on ZReduction. You can even have 2!  Just no bun. A new manufacturer that I found is called Applegate. They make a beef hotdog that has no nitrites, and is very lean. Look for the red package. Have two of those too! In fancier grocery stores like Whole Foods you can also find organic hotdogs that fit the bill. Just make sure there is no sugar in the hotdog, and none of the nasty stuff like nitrates.
