Cream

Add to favorites
Heavy whipping cream has now been approved for ZReduction! 4 Tbsp max per day.
Put it in your coffee, or use it to jazz up your favorite soup. It also makes a nice addition to a special sauce, like the Baked Salmon with a Louisiana Cream Sauce.
Enjoy!
Cheers,

I’m confused. Cream as in Half-n-Half?
Hi Dee, we’d prefer you used heavy whipping cream, but half and half should be ok. We find heavy whipping cream MUCH more satisfying.
To clarify, I just went back and edited the original post to specify what kind of cream.
Enjoy!
What about sugar-free creamers?
GREAT question. If it’s “cream-er” (and not “cream”) chances are it’s got a lot of artificials in it. Take a look at this example.
This is the ingredients list from Coffee Mate’s Sugar Free French Vanilla Creamer taken from their website:
Yikes!
Now, look at the ingredients list for Organic Valley’s Heavy Whipping Cream:
See the difference? One of the things we want you to do is to try to get away from eating food “products” and just eat the real thing. You’ll be amazed at how much better you feel. If you have questions about a specific brand, you can email me the specific name and I’ll let you know if it will work for you on ZReduction. My email is jenw@planzdiet.com.
Thanks so much!
Jen
Also any suggestions for adding flavors? I’m starting day 1 of ZReduction tomorrow and my biggest thing to get used to not having is my iced, sugar loaded coffee! Usually full of different kinds of flavored syrups and creamers!
I know what you mean. I used to love those flavors, too. I’ve gotten used to not having them anymore, though – there’s no sugar at ZHeadquarters! Now, when I go to a coffee shop, I’ll sprinkle powdered vanilla on top of my coffee. Sometimes, I’ll use their powdered cinnamon, too. I’ll add cream, and a little stevia (although I’ve gotten to the point now where I don’t need a sweetener, the cream is enough for me!) There are also flavored liquid stevia drops you can add to beverages (like coffee and sparkling water) to add flavor. You can find them on amazon.com. There’s a butterscotch flavor that Zola likes, and a chocolate flavor that Chris likes a lot. He also puts it on frozen strawberries when he’s making smoosh.
Thanks so much! Eliminating sugar is going to be my biggest challenge!!!!!!! I found these …..https://www.amazon.com/SweetLeaf-Sweet-Liquid-Stevia-Variety/dp/B01IF9UBW4/ref=sr_tnr_p_4_8995921011_1_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1474405411&sr=8-4&keywords=stevia+drops
is there any certain brand you all prefer for us to use?
Oh yeah. These will do the job!!
Love the heavy cream in my morning coffee. Don’t miss my Chobani creamer at all!
