Are you going to eat that, Einstein?

According to nutrition information posted on their website, an Einstein Everything Bagel contains 54 grams of carbohydrates. As VP of Anger Management at Plan Z, I see RED when I think of all the bagels I ate when I believed they were a healthier choice than scrambled eggs and bacon.
I don’t anymore. From a weight loss standpoint, you’re much better off licking off the cream cheese and throwing the bagel away. Did you ever notice nobody binges on cheese and eggs? That’s because they satisfy your hunger and your cells and muscles can use the fat in them as fuel. When you eat a bagel (or two), your pancreas secretes insulin and the insulin converts some of the carbohydrate to fat where it is unavailable to nourish your cells. This makes you hungry for more because you are not really getting nourishment where it’s needed. If the guy in this video worked for me and brought that bag of bagels to work as a treat for our employees, I would have him watch the video “Why You Got Fat” and, then, ask him to take the bagels home and never bring bagels, donuts, cookies or cakes to the office ever again.
Too extreme? Do you think it’s considerate to bring refined flour and sugar to the office? Or is it bad for a business to have processed foods readily available for every employee who rushed to work and is living on coffee and bagels (or donuts) until lunchtime? You decide. When you are living ZLife, you are going to be able to eat anything you want. But are you going to want to eat a bagel? We’ll see. Knowing what I know and as mad as I am right now, I find it easy not to indulge. Watch this short clip and take in the music. See if it makes you hungry for a bagel? If it does I haven’t done my job.
Well, it is better to put a bagel on a pedestal than in your (fat or thinning) stomach.
