Chai Latte

Add to favorites
Plan Z Phase: This is a Z2 (ZReduction) recipe. Plan Z Dieter, Randy, was missing his morning chai latte. Zola helped him to create a Plan Z friendly version. Wake up and smile as you start your day with this fragrant, sweetly spiced morning drink.
Servings: Serves 1
Ingredients:
For the spice mix
- 2 tsp ground ginger
- 2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 tsp ground cloves
- 1 tsp ground cardamom
For the tea
- a few drops of vanilla flavored stevia drops
- 1 Tbl cream
- optional: 1 tsp Truvia (you can add the Truvia if you’re looking to make your tea taste sweeter)
Instruction:
Combine the ingredients for the spice mix in a jar and keep them separated, dry and stored.
When you want to make your drink take out one bag of tea (or use your tea ball and loose tea). Put that in the cup. Add a 1/4 tsp of the spice mix. Add a few drops of vanilla flavored Stevia drops. Then brew. At the end add the cream.
If you need to sweeten the tea a bit you can add 1 tsp of Truvia.
Enjoy!
Cheers,

Dieter Cindy’s Mocha Mix
Dieter Cindy developed this recipe while looking for ZReduction-friendly beverages. She now makes it in batches so she can just pull out a tsp of "mix" and add the coffee & cream. Even her coworkers…
Strawberry “Almost Ice Cream”

Dieter Claire invented this recipe by modifying the fruit parfait recipe and adding extra frozen strawberries. She says, "it's as close to ice cream as you can get." We agree.

What type of tea should be used with this?
Great question. Any kind of black tea will do. Most chai is made with orange pekoe, assam or darjeeling but you can make it with earl grey, english breakfast…use your favorite and experiment!
what about black chai tea from Stash?
That is A-OK! Enjoy!
If we wanted to make this iced, any suggestions?
You could absolutely turn this into an iced beverage! Here’s what you’ll do:
Bring 1 cup of water to a boil.
Add 5 tea bags into a single coffee/tea cup.
Add boiling water to tea.
Allow it to stand for 5 minutes or longer.
Fill a mason jar with ice.
Pour tea into the jar, top with additional ice (some will have melted) and cold water. Add your spices and sweetener and mix it all up.
It should already be cool – place in freezer or serve in glasses topped with ice.
Enjoy!
Awesome! Thank you!
