Tomato Pizzettas

Plan Z Phase: This is a Z2 (ZReduction) recipe, submitted by Plan Z dieter Karen.
Servings: Serves 1
Ingredients:
- 1 Tbl no-sugar tomato paste
- 1 Tbl no-sugar ketchup
- Italian or pizza seasoning
- 1/4 cup cottage cheese
- 1 medium tomato sliced thick
- fresh basil, chopped
- black pepper to taste
Instructions:
Mix paste, ketchup and seasoning. Arrange tomatoes on a plate. Spread with tomato paste mixture and top with cottage cheese. Microwave 1 minute. Sprinkle with basil and pepper.
Serve with freshly sliced cucumber. This dish also makes a great appetizer platter to bring to a party or get-together.

Would you have some protein with this, or no because of the cottage cheese?
That depends on how many you eat. Yes, the cottage cheese is your protein. If you eat the whole batch… you really would not add an extra protein beyond a couple of ounces. This recipe was designed early on; when 4-6 oz was your allowed protein. Now you have up to 8 oz so you’d have a little wiggle room.
One thing to keep in mind is some dieters get stalled if they eat too much cottage cheese so unless you are vegetarian I’d be very careful with this. Don’t go overboard.
