Plan Z Phase: This is a Z2 (ZReduction) recipe.

This side dish comes together in a snap. The vibrant purples and greens of the cabbage and pea pods make a boring dish pop. I like to pair these veggies with my Grilled Tuna with an Asian Flair.

Serving Size: 1 cup

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup of cabbage shredded into 1/4″ slices
  • 1/2 cup of pea pods
  • Olive oil spray

Instructions:

Slice your cabbage leaves lengthwise (the long way) into 1/4″ pieces. Zip the pea pods to remove the stem and seam section. Spray the veggies with olive oil and cook for a few minutes on medium-high heat to loosen them up. You can even do this on the grill if you use a grilling basket so they don’t fall through the grill.

Enjoy!

Cheers,

Zola-fied Berghoff Spinach

The Berghoff is a famous Chicago restaurant. Their creamed spinach is an institution in itself. This is my ZReduction version.
