Roasted Plum Tomatoes

Add to favorites
Plan Z Phase: This is a Z2 (ZReduction) recipe.
Servings: 2 to 3 pieces per person
Ingredients:
- 6 large tomatoes
- 4 Tbl extra virgin olive oil
- sea salt or regular salt
Instructions:
Wash and cut the tomatoes in half lengthwise. In a 9″ x 9″ inch glass pan, arrange the tomatoes cut side up so they are close together. Drizzle with olive oil and lightly grate sea salt on top. Roast the tomatoes at 350 degrees for an hour. Take them out of the oven and let them cool on the counter.
You may want to reheat them just before serving, but they are also good room temperature. The flavor is very intense. YUM!
Enjoy!
Cheers,

You have this same recipe (minus the Italian seasoning) and same photo under Italian Roasted Tomatoes. These both come up under Z2 web filter but the header of THIS recipe (ie. Roasted Plum Tomatoes) says it is a Z3 dish…. Are these Roasted Tomatoes ok for Z2?
Great catch — you found a typo in this recipe, it should actually listed as a Z2 (ZReduction) recipe. Thanks so much for bringing that to our attention!
