Z3: Entrees

Oshkosh Guacamole

Add zip to your chip with Dieter Carolyn's version of guacamole. The secret she says is using lime instead of lemon!

Cucumber “Sandwiches”

The humble cucumber strongly stands in for bread in this protein packed lunch staple. Crunchy. Wonderful. And it is so much better for you!

Quick Grilled Chicken and Veggies 4 Ways

This simply grilled chicken dish can be prepared in a variety of different styles--from French and Italian to Mexican and Asian. It makes for a perfect excuse to blow the dust of your grill and say hello to summer.

Kickin Chicken Meatloaf

Get ready to 'kick' up your dinner with this recipe from Dieter Rebecca. She used a combination of ground chicken and Italian sausage to add an extra boost of flavor to her meatloaf. Feel free to use ground beef if that's all you have, but Rebecca really recommends trying the chicken version for a unique take on this American classic.

Mexican Chicken Salad (SUPER EASY)

You don’t even have to cook to make this dish! It’s just pick apart a chicken, chop up the veggies and stir the ingredients together. If your teenaged kids like Mexican, let them make this one!

Seafood Crepes

These crepes are very low carb and EASY to make. You can even make them ahead and store them in the refrigerator or freeze them. I made them at the same time I was working on my seafood and sauce for the stuffed crepes but if you’re not that coordinated in the kitchen, you can make the crepes first and just store them. You do have to keep a close eye on the crepes as they cook. Don’t get distracted. It’s much less stressful to make the crepes and then make the sauce. Both come together really fast so you’ll be out of the kitchen in a jiffy anyway.

Halibut with Shallots and Bacon

They say everything goes better with bacon. From the sounds coming out of my husband when he took his first bite I’d say that’s on target. He loved this dish.

Zucchini-Carrot Saute (SUPER simple)

This is such a fabulous substitute for pasta. I promise you won’t miss it. You even get the same texture of the noodles from the spiralized zucchini and you get color and bits of carrot for fun.

Italian Sausage Zucchini Casserole

This dish is Italian comfort food. I curl up on sofa with a bowl of this and watch a movie. You can go totally low-carb with this one and make it without the pasta. Tastes just as good. This also makes a great casserole addition to a pot luck party.

Shrimp Curry

This dishes coaxes out an abundance of flavor from the shrimp. Creamy, smooth, and slightly spiced your taste buds will light up with his lightened seafood recipe.

Zippy Szechuan Chicken and Veggies

Take your tastebuds on a weeknight trip to Asia with this slightly spicy Chinese-inspired dish. You can easily substitute the chicken for either shrimp or beef.

Authentic Italian Meatballs

These meatballs are my take on an authentic meatball recipe from New York city. These actually have a cheesy element to them that make them super yummy. BIG YUM!

Peanut Butter Thai Stir Fry

I love peanut sauce with my Thai food. It feels like Asian comfort food. Don’t knock it til you try it. I thought it sounded really weird when I was younger but once I tried it I became a big fan.

Mexican Meatloaf

A good old American favorite with a Mexican twist.

Chicken Chili Enchilada Casserole

This casserole tastes just like a zippy chicken enchilada without the major carbohydrate intake.

Chicken Pot Pie Bake (for Turkey leftovers, too!)

The inside of this pie bake tastes just like Midwest comfort food. You won't even notice the potatoes are missing. It has just enough carrots to remind you how sweet they are. Same for the peas. The onion, celery and the mushrooms give it the depth of flavor you'll remember from childhood. The topping isn't your average pie crust. This one is low carb. So it's not like a biscuit either. I'm still trying to perfect low carb biscuits, so this is sort of a cross-breed.

Roasted Sea Bass with a Thai Red Curry Sauce

Sea bass tastes like a buttery heaven. There is no butter on this fish but you'll swear there is as you eat it. This red curry sauce is NOT spicy. It's just flavorful.

Harry O’s Sweetheart Pizzas

Radio DJ Harry O in Mason City, IA offers up his latest ZReboot recipe. Simple, yet delicious.

French Country Creamy-Cheesy Chicken Casserole

This tastes like a little bit of France in your home. This one has pasta in it so it hits Z3.5. If you make it without pasta you could have it earlier in Z3. All the directions will stay the same if you make the Z3 version simply omit the pasta.

Pizza Scrambled Eggs

Our VP of Anger Management, Chris Lytle offers up his latest breakfast creation.

Z2: Entrees

Simple Southwestern Chicken

This spice blend is super easy to mix up and adds a nice bit of zip to your chicken.

Cajun Shrimp and a “Mess of Greens”

This is a colorful dish that’s also healthy. Fresh and fancy enough to serve to company. No one will miss rice. Easy for a weeknight too.

Beefy Peppered Onions

This side dish will make just about any man’s day. Think of pairing it with a small steak or a grilled chicken breast.

Roasted Plum Tomatoes with Chinese Eggplant

Roasting the vegetables really brings out lovely caramelized flavors in the eggplant and tomatoes. Try pairing this side dish with my Halibut with Shallots and Bacon recipe for a light and tasty meal.

Taco Tres (Taco Salad Recipe #3)

Dieters rave about taco salad. This one is my new favorite.

Roasted Cream of Asparagus Soup

It may not feel like it here in Chicago, but spring and asparagus season are just around the corner. Gear up with this flavorful soup.

Chipotle Pork Tenderloin

You'll give your mouth a sweet and spicy kick with this Southwestern inspired dish.

Seared Sea Scallops with a Spicy Dipping Sauce

Try this dish for a taste of the sea with a little kick. Pairs excellently with my Asian Veggie Stir Fry

Spinach Chicken

This is almost gourmet but so easy! This is definitely fancy enough to serve to a small dinner party.

Lime Chicken

Okay, so I know this sounds odd but it really tastes very good! Simple to make. It will make even a rookie cook a star.

Spicy Paprika Salmon

If you like paprika and some zing, you’ll like this dish. Salmon has such a robust (almost fatty) flavor you get a big bang for your fish buck with this one. You could also make this dish with other fish pieces like Halibut, Sea Bass, Haddock or… even thinner pieces like Sole but you won’t cook it nearly as long.

Whitefish with an Asian-Cajun Remoulade

Some would call this fancy frou-frou food. Who knows what a remoulade is!? Foodies do. And foodies understand the concept of fusion food. This is one of those--a spicy combination of Cajun and Asian to make a new style of remoulade that can go with any kind of fish. I used flounder for my dish, but you can use any white fish. If you use a thicker one like sea bass you’ll have to cook it longer but the sauce won’t change.

Chicken Breasts with Zola’s French Pan Sauce (BUFFET STYLE)

This is my favorite new creation. I think I have made this three times in the last two weeks and that’s pretty much a record for me. This dish is easy and it tastes fancy!

Asian Veggie Stir Fry

This dish can be served with something as simple as a grilled steak or a baked chicken breast. If you want an American-Asian combo this is the way to go. It’s also designed to be served with the seared sea scallops for a more Asian-directed entrée.

Slow Cooker Southwestern Chicken Chili

Add a kick to your weeknight meals. Just let the crock pot do the work and you'll have a South of the border dinner in a cinch.

Steak Marinade #4

Summer grilling is not over yet. This one can be done on the grill, in the broiler, or follow my lead to sear it and roast it in your oven. The last option is used by French restaurants who serve steak.

Mexican Chicken Bowl

This is a quick and easy meal to prepare. You can make it in batches so you get several servings and it travels and reheats in a microwave easily. Mexican food lovers in your family will love this. It's not very spicy. You can always add hot sauce to fire it up.

Baked Salmon

A quick, easy, and simple fish dish to brighten up your weekday meals.

Italian Grilled Steak with Balsamic Onions

Get out the grill! This is one way the Italians do steak. I took a Food Network recipe and Zolafied it to come up with this option for a healthy steak dinner.

Asian Asparagus

This type of dinner comes together VERY quickly. The flavors of the asparagus make a very simple dinner taste fancy and pairs really nicely with a plain, grilled piece of meat.

Z3: Starters, Salads & Sauces

Parmesan Crackers

Make these crackers when you have invited a friend over for a glass of wine and you want to have a little snack on the side.

Turkey Roll-Ups

This is a recipe that can made by a supervised child or a helper. It's basically assembly work. Your time is then freed up to work on the other things. It took me about 30 minutes to do 30 rolls.

Caprese Tomato Salad

This makes a quick light appetizer that's pretty in the summer. Or it can be a side salad or even an Italian side dish to go great with grilled summer foods.

Caramelized Roasted Garlic

You will want to roast the garlic until it is lightly golden on the edges and the timing depends on your oven, the size of the garlic and the amount of oil you use.

Pear and Blue Cheese Dip

You can use celery sticks to dip or a few of the wafer thin crackers. You can even just eat it with a spoon!

Rockin’ Guacamole

Efrem says, "This is a really easy to make, great tasting guacamole to accompany any Mexican dish.

Creamed Spinach

Creamed spinach makes a wonderful, old-school side dish or you can use it as a dip. Serve with Melba rounds and just reuse your rounds so you don’t eat more than 3 or 4.

Scotch Eggs

A traditional Scotch Egg involves wrapping sausage around a whole hard-boiled egg. It is commonly eaten in Scotland, where the Scots will eat this either as an appetizer or as part of a main meal.

Stuffed Jalapeno Peppers

Depending on the size of your peppers you might have filling left over. You can keep this for later. It will make a lovely stuffing for an omelet.

Parmesan-Reggiano in the “Raw”

There's only one ingredient in this recipe. The success is in the quality and the presentation. Cooking rookies and gourmets in a hurry can't beat this one for ease.

Sweet and Spicy Pecans

Instead of serving pecan pie, how about serving these as an appetizer/snack offering? They are amazingly addictive.

Cheese Ball

Dieter Misty wrote to me asking for a cheese ball recipe for the holidays. So I worked with Misty to come up with one that is all natural, REAL ingredients recipe. Hope you enjoy!

Wild Mushroom Cream Sauce

This sauce is my new favorite. I was pleased as punch when I finished this up. I decided this would be great on turkey at the holidays but it can also go really well with chicken, steak and even fish.

Z2: Starters, Salads & Sauces

Barbecue Chicken – Zola Style

If you are not a major cook don’t worry. This looks harder than it is. Stick with this and you’ll love your chicken!

Chicken Enchilada Chopped Salad

Mexican food is usually chock-full of carbs. Everything is wrapped in a tortilla or paired with a pile of taco chips.

Sweet Curry Chicken Salad

This dish on Z2 will be your fruit and your entrée. This is a super-simple dish for even the novice cooks.

Tomato & Onion Salad with Balsamic-Pesto Dressing

Because you cannot have oil on ZReduction I have made this dressing to mimic what you’d get in a large steakhouse.

Raspberry-Chipotle “Wings”

Sweet and spicy wings with an unusual twist.

Curried Chicken Salad

This salad is a cinch to whip up. It tastes a bit exotic and has all the elements of a gourmet chicken salad without the fat and the guilt.

Chicken Salad

This leaves you with the ability to eat another half apple or half fruit portion for your dessert and it also gives a little wiggle room to eat a small veggie portion on the side or added to the salad.

Asian Chicken and Cabbage Salad

In the Zola to GO! version of this recipe you can eat the chicken cold or transport it separately and heat the chicken before putting it on the salad.

Grilled Chicken and Fruit Salad with Bloody Mary Dressing

If you like Russian dressing you might consider this Russian dressing’s cousin. Just whiz it up and pour it on.

Warm Asian Chicken and Citrus Salad

This will be your vegetables, your protein and half of your fruit.

Cucumber Melon Relish

This side dish goes really well with any type of fish.

Hunky Chunky Tomato Salad

A simple salad to go with your favorite ZReduction dressing.

Berries with Sweet Cream

When you are on ZReduction even the least little bit of cream tastes like heaven. This is a super simple dessert that combines cream with your favorite berries.

Asian Sensation Dressing and Dipping Sauce

Super simple Asian dressing and dipping sauce.

Chinese Dipping Sauce

Enjoy this sauce with chicken, a small steak or you might also consider this with grilled fish, scallops or shrimp. They will all work nicely.

Chicken Patty Salad

This makes a rather elegant meal. Enjoy with some breadsticks to round it out and then follow up with your fruit.

Hot Green Wings

Here is the first of two wing dishes I served this Super Bowl. Judging by the empty plates and happy faces I think they went down very well.

Ground Beef and Roasted Poblano Roll-Ups

It’s really a sort of Spanish-Mexican comfort food. You can, of course, make them spicy if you want to.

Taco Two Salad

I had a hankerin’’ for a taco salad. I wanted some hot taco meat with a cold salad as a counter-point. Decided to make a new recipe so this is our second taco salad recipe. Taco Two!

Horseradish Burgers with a Warm Salad

This makes a nice, easy lunch or quick dinner.

The Skeptics' Agreement Waiver Form

Skeptics Agreement

Let me start off by saying that I am not surprised you are skeptical. In my 40+ years of dieting, I think I have pretty much seen it all. I tried it all and in the long run, all those diets failed me. Sometimes I lost weight, but I never kept it off. Those diets never solved the real, underlying problem. If I’d had the education you’re now getting as part of Plan Z, I never would have gained the weight back. I now know how to get that weight off and how to keep it off. Follow this plan faithfully and you’ll know what I know. I’m on your side.

By asking for the Skeptics’ Guarantee you open up another style of diet coaching beyond what other dieters feel they need. And that’s okay. I’m over-the-moon confident that Plan Z can work for you, and I am willing to stand behind it.

Here’s what you’ll need to do as part of the Plan Z Skeptics’ Agreement:

For the first 9 days you are on Plan Z (beginning with Day 1 of your ZBinge) you agree to stay in touch with us. The easiest way to do this is by email. If you have questions and want to chat, you can also be in touch by phone. We are in the office Mon-Thurs from 10 am – 2 pm Eastern and sometimes on the weekend. You can also find me by cell. Here are my contact points:

  • My email address is zola@planzdiet.com. I check my email weekday mornings at 8 am and periodically throughout the day.
  • My direct line is 800-255-9853 x 101.
  • My cell phone number is 773-501-5301. Please only call that number outside of office hours. I don’t keep it in my office.

If you have a wacky schedule and need to vary that, let’s talk and figure it out. We need to be in contact so I can make sure you are on target with each element of the diet. I also want to give you extra attention so you can ask questions and receive guidance from me. Each time you contact me either by email or phone you’ll answer these 3 questions:

  • How you feel
  • How much weight you’ve lost
  • How it’s going overall

And then we can discuss the finer points of the diet. You can ask anything from cooking questions to bathroom habit questions. Nothing is out of bounds for you. This is serious dieting and I want you to feel cared for. Most diets just sell you food and let you go. This is not one of those diets. My job is to guide you through the diet. I am not a doctor and I cannot give you medical advice.

You can release me from the Skeptics’ Guarantee at any time during those first 9 days by letting me know you are happy with your results and are ready to be on your own. If you want to invoke the guarantee please let us know by Day 9. After Day 9 you’ll be releasing your ability to get a skeptic’s refund. If by Day 9, when you and I evaluate the process, you have not lost an amount of weight you feel is a good amount for you, I will arrange to refund your purchase price minus $135. You will have paid $15 for each day you were on Plan Z. In order to qualify for that refund you will need to return your manual and all of your remaining ZR50 Reduction formula. I will email you a paid USPS return label that you will print off, put on your package and give to your USPS driver or drop off at a USPS location. Those items must arrive in our offices at 5222 Old Hixson Pike, Suite 208, Hixson TN 37343 by Day 30. That means if you delay too long you might need to overnight them. If that happens, send them in a manner that’s trackable in case there are any issues with your shipping carrier. Otherwise you’d lose your ability to get your funds returned. If you paid for your diet with a credit card you’ll get your refund by credit card. If you paid through PayPal, you will get your refund through PayPal.

I am not afraid to guarantee results because Plan Z has a 97.2% success rate. I have been an entrepreneur for nearly 40 years and I strive to have a company with zero unhappy clients. If you’re not 100% sure, then call me at 800.255.9853 to discuss it. I have found that the most skeptical people often become Plan Z zealots.

Plan Z is more than a diet. It is a complete plan for taking back your life and health. If this is what you’ve been looking for, I encourage you to jump in. Your thinner future is only 50 days away.

Please answer the questions below. I’ll need this information before your start date to put your agreement in place.
