Roasted Asparagus Soup
ZSpecialties,Z2-Soup,ZS-Dieter Favorites,Z2-Vegetarian
Season to taste. I put a fair amount of pepper on top. My husband loves pepper on top of soup. Garnish with the asparagus tips and serve with a protein.
Italian Meatball Soup
ZSpecialties,ZS-Dieter Favorites,Z2-Entrees,Z2-Beef,ZS-Zola to Go,Z2-Soup
So today you can “Enjoy a Bowl-a-Zola.”
Chili Con Carne
ZSpecialties,Z2-Beef,ZS-Dieter Favorites,Z2-Soup,ZS-Zola to Go,Z2-Entrees
This is a meaty chili with some veggies tossed in for crunch factor. Makes a satisfying lunch.
Creole Seafood Stew
When I made this Creole stew, I used some “aristocratic” ingredients (shrimp and lump crab meat) but you can certainly make it easier on your budget by making a “Cajun” version.
Cioppino (Seafood Stew)
ZS-Dieter Favorites,Z2-Entrees,Z2-Soup,ZSpecialties,Z2-Seafood
Plan Z dieter Karen has taken the classic Italian seafood dish cioppino and turned into a Plan Z recipe. Thanks Karen!
Tomato Shrimp Chowder
Talk about easy to make. This dish is done in a flash. If you’re like me, you’ll make a triple batch of the tomato base. You can freeze the portions.
Chicken Meatball Soup
ZSpecialties,Z2-Entrees,Z2-Soup,ZS-Zola to Go,Z2-Poultry

Chicken and “Sausage” Etouffee (Cajun Stew)
Z2-Beef,Z2-Entrees,ZS-Zola to Go,Z2-Soup,ZSpecialties,Z2-Poultry

Mayan Chicken Stew
ZSpecialties,Z2-Entrees,Z2-Soup,ZS-Zola to Go,Z2-Poultry
This is an amazingly easy dish to make. On a diet like this Mexican or South American food would not normally be possible but this tastes authentic and has no rice or potatoes.
Italian Crock Pot Chicken
ZSpecialties,ZS-Dieter Favorites,Z2-Entrees,Z2-Soup,ZS-Zola to Go,Z2-Poultry
You can also have a salad on the side with a few bits of celery and cucumber.
Tomato Basil Soup
ZS-Zola to Go,Z2-Soup,ZSpecialties,ZS-Dieter Favorites
Tomato basil soup is very easy to make. It comes together in a flash. The addition of cooked chicken elevates it to a one bowl meal.
Shrimp and Chicken Creole
Z2-Soup,Z2-Entrees,Z2-Poultry,Z2-Seafood
This tastes pretty darn authentic. Creole… or low country food. If you want it spicy you might consider adding a bit of cayenne (1/4 tsp) or the same amount of red pepper flakes. An final alternative would be to put a bottle of Tabasco on the table for people to add their own.
Chili #4
ZSpecialties,Z2-Entrees,Z2-Beef,ZS-Zola to Go,Z2-Soup
I have designed several chili recipes for Plan Z. This is one of those that is very straightforward and simple. It doesn’t even have a lot of ingredients.
Italian Pepper Steak in a Crock Pot
This is a great crock pot recipe. Super simple but really tasty.
Tomato Steak Stew
Made this tonight and was very happy with it – it would count as your vegetable and your meat although you could definitely add a green salad. I found it to be very filling.
Beef & Vegetable Stew
This stew will contain your meat and vegetable portion, serve with salad greens for a complete meal.

Cincinnati Chili (EASY)
Z3-Soups & Stews,Z3.5-Beef,Z3.5-Soups & Stews,Z3-Beef
This is a famous chili that probably should not even be called a chili. It was invented by two brothers who emigrated from Europe in the 1920’s. Of course, they lived in Cincinnati. When finished this will look sort of like chili but it’s served on spaghetti. There are no beans and it’s not spicy. It’s flavorful for sure, but not “hot.” Don’t let the list of ingredients throw you off.
Leek Tart
ZS-Holiday,ZSpecialties,Z3-Pork
This Leek Tart makes for a lovely dish cut into wedges and served on a holiday buffet. You can also enjoy this as a light entrée with a salad.
Italian Shrimp Cocktail
ZSpecialties,ZS-5 Ingredients or Less,Z3-Seafood,ZS-Holiday,Z3-Appetizers & Snacks
This is what I call cheating when I’m in a hurry. I use my favorite bottled Italian dressing as the marinade and everyone thinks I put so much effort into this really pretty dish.
Shrimp in a French Lemon White Wine Cream Sauce
Z3-Seafood,Z3-Appetizers & Snacks
This is an elegant meal you can serve to company or even just for a romantic meal at home. I served this with haricot vert (roasted French green beans). That kept the meal totally low carb.
Dieter Angela’s Ground Turkey “Meatzza” Crust
ZSpecialties,Z3-Pork,ZS-Dieter Favorites,Z3-Poultry
Angela says, "I love pizza, so I was looking for alternatives. I was disappointed to find cauliflower crust is not much lower in carbs than a traditional pizza crust. I came across that recipe for a meatzza crust and was pleasantly surprised. It satisfied my pizza craving, and I could have a slice of pizza without needing a fork! For those pizza cravings, here’s a recipe for a meatzza crust."
Super Easy Kung Pao Meatballs
This meal comes together in a MINUTE – or at least it feels like it. I made this for Saturday night movie night and it was a hit!
Grilled Shrimp “Scampi”
Grilled shrimp is a delicious summer treat. Enjoy this easy and tasty recipe!
Creamy, Cheesy, Garlicky Shrimp
This dish tastes very much like Shrimp Scampi that you might order in an Italian restaurant. The addition of cheese takes it over the top in terms of BIG YUM.
Lamb Kebabs (Z3 Version)
A ZReboot version of a ZReduction classic. If you like lamb, this recipe is a home run.
Roasted Carrots
Roast carrots are easy to make and taste good every time. If you can splurge on fresh herbs, it will be well worth it.

Shrimp Scampi (ZReboot Version)
Z3-Appetizers & Snacks,Z3-Seafood
What will take the longest with this dish is peeling and taking the shells off the shrimp. You want fresh shrimp though and I’ll teach you how to boil down the shells to make it super-tasty. A deeper flavor is the bonus.
Hot Wing Dip
ZS-Holiday,Z3-Appetizers & Snacks,ZSpecialties,ZS-Dieter Favorites,Z3-Poultry
Most folks think of chicken wings as being a guy thing and even a sport fan thing but anyone can love this dip! I served it as a breakfast buffet item and it was hands down the dish that got the most comments and compliments. I think it was because it was so unexpected. The comments came from men and women alike but I must admit the guys were the ones who went gaga over this.
Italian Sausage Soup (ZReboot Version)
Z3-Soups & Stews,ZSpecialties,ZS-Dieter Favorites,Z3-Pork,ZS-Zola to Go

Asian Chicken with Veggie Slaw (ZReboot Version)
Z3-Salads,ZS-Zola to Go,Z3-Poultry,ZSpecialties
This looks like a lot of ingredients, but you’ll see it’s sort of a dump and cook recipe. Not difficult at all. If you love making Asian food you probably have many of these ingredients in the house.
Italian Sausage and Zucchini Bake
This is sort of one of those dump casseroles that come together quickly and doesn’t require a lot of effort or dishes.
Burger Stuffed Onions
Truth be told I made this dish for my husband. He LOVES roasted onions. I had a craving for a burger, so this fit the bill. How much burger will fit in your onion depends on how big the onion is and how well you scoop it out.
Chicken and Green Chiles Casserole
This chicken casserole will remind you of chilies Rellenos. If you like those you’ll be a big fan of this low-carb dish. Simple to put together and toss in the oven. And Voila! Dinner. I serve with slices of avocado on the side dusted with a bit of grated sea salt.

Cocktail Sauce
ZS-5 Ingredients or Less,Z2-Seafood,Z2-Sauces & Dressings,ZSpecialties,ZS-Dieter Favorites

Egg Drop Soup
Z2-Eggs,ZSpecialties,Z2-Vegetarian,ZS-Dieter Favorites,Z2-Soup,ZS-5 Ingredients or Less,Z2-Appetizers & Snacks
This soup is a staple at Chinese restaurants. It is filling, delicate and delicious. Unfortunately, one of the ingredients in most restaurant egg drop soup recipes is MSG. The recipe below is an MSG-free version of the traditional classic, so it won't taste exactly the same, but we think it's just as delicious.
Lamb Kebabs (Z2 Version)
Marinating lamb beforehand adds a depth of flavor that can't be beat. And when it's grilled, it's phenomenal. So, if you like lamb, this recipe is a home run.

The Skeptics' Agreement Waiver Form
Skeptics Agreement
Let me start off by saying that I am not surprised you are skeptical. In my 40+ years of dieting, I think I have pretty much seen it all. I tried it all and in the long run, all those diets failed me. Sometimes I lost weight, but I never kept it off. Those diets never solved the real, underlying problem. If I’d had the education you’re now getting as part of Plan Z, I never would have gained the weight back. I now know how to get that weight off and how to keep it off. Follow this plan faithfully and you’ll know what I know. I’m on your side.
By asking for the Skeptics’ Guarantee you open up another style of diet coaching beyond what other dieters feel they need. And that’s okay. I’m over-the-moon confident that Plan Z can work for you, and I am willing to stand behind it.

Here’s what you’ll need to do as part of the Plan Z Skeptics’ Agreement:
For the first 9 days you are on Plan Z (beginning with Day 1 of your ZBinge) you agree to stay in touch with us. The easiest way to do this is by email. If you have questions and want to chat, you can also be in touch by phone. We are in the office Mon-Thurs from 10 am – 2 pm Eastern and sometimes on the weekend. You can also find me by cell. Here are my contact points:
- My email address is zola@planzdiet.com. I check my email weekday mornings at 8 am and periodically throughout the day.
- My direct line is 800-255-9853 x 101.
- My cell phone number is 773-501-5301. Please only call that number outside of office hours. I don’t keep it in my office.
If you have a wacky schedule and need to vary that, let’s talk and figure it out. We need to be in contact so I can make sure you are on target with each element of the diet. I also want to give you extra attention so you can ask questions and receive guidance from me. Each time you contact me either by email or phone you’ll answer these 3 questions:
- How you feel
- How much weight you’ve lost
- How it’s going overall
And then we can discuss the finer points of the diet. You can ask anything from cooking questions to bathroom habit questions. Nothing is out of bounds for you. This is serious dieting and I want you to feel cared for. Most diets just sell you food and let you go. This is not one of those diets. My job is to guide you through the diet. I am not a doctor and I cannot give you medical advice.
You can release me from the Skeptics’ Guarantee at any time during those first 9 days by letting me know you are happy with your results and are ready to be on your own. If you want to invoke the guarantee please let us know by Day 9. After Day 9 you’ll be releasing your ability to get a skeptic’s refund. If by Day 9, when you and I evaluate the process, you have not lost an amount of weight you feel is a good amount for you, I will arrange to refund your purchase price minus $135. You will have paid $15 for each day you were on Plan Z. In order to qualify for that refund you will need to return your manual and all of your remaining ZR50 Reduction formula. I will email you a paid USPS return label that you will print off, put on your package and give to your USPS driver or drop off at a USPS location. Those items must arrive in our offices at 5222 Old Hixson Pike, Suite 208, Hixson TN 37343 by Day 30. That means if you delay too long you might need to overnight them. If that happens, send them in a manner that’s trackable in case there are any issues with your shipping carrier. Otherwise you’d lose your ability to get your funds returned. If you paid for your diet with a credit card you’ll get your refund by credit card. If you paid through PayPal, you will get your refund through PayPal.
I am not afraid to guarantee results because Plan Z has a 97.2% success rate. I have been an entrepreneur for nearly 40 years and I strive to have a company with zero unhappy clients. If you’re not 100% sure, then call me at 800.255.9853 to discuss it. I have found that the most skeptical people often become Plan Z zealots.
Plan Z is more than a diet. It is a complete plan for taking back your life and health. If this is what you’ve been looking for, I encourage you to jump in. Your thinner future is only 50 days away.
Please answer the questions below. I’ll need this information before your start date to put your agreement in place.
