ZREDUCTION: LOSE WEIGHT WHILE EATING REAL FOOD

Delicious, satisfying, whole foods are a large part of Plan Z. We have over 1000 recipes that are exclusive to the diet. You get to choose from those recipes every day and make your own meals.

Diet food doesn’t have to taste like diet food. You’ll gain more control over your diet and more importantly, you’ll stop relying on packaged and processed foods (the foods that make us fat) for meals. Most recipes take less than 20 minutes to prepare and cook. You’ll have plenty of choices and you don’t have to be a great cook, or even a cook at all, to make these meals. You can choose from “fancy” food or comfort foods. You can even have dessert!

Dieters lose an average of 31 pounds during the 50-day ZReduction phase. Learn more about the four phases here. Want to see their success stories? Click here.

Baked Salmon with Bragg’s Sauce

Calling all Bragg’s lovers. This is yet another reason why we love Bragg’s so much!

Raspberry “Ice Cream”

Dieter Margaret offered up a GREAT idea! I scream. You scream. We all scream for ice cream – and we are on a diet! BONUS!

Famous Burger Meatloaf

This is a “Whopper” of a meatloaf, designed to taste like the famous burger. I hope you enjoy.

Garlic Fried Chicken

Want old-time, Southern fried chicken? Well you’re not going to get it on Z2 but this is as close as I can get. It will remind you of the batter-fried flavor without the carbohydrates and oil.

Italian Crock Pot Chicken

You can also have a salad on the side with a few bits of celery and cucumber.

Mini-Meatloaves

These little meatloaves transport very easily. They can be taken to work for lunch, or a picnic in the park. I hope you enjoy them!

ZR50 Crave Control Spray

ZR50 CRAVE CONTROL SPRAY

Diet comfortably and successfully with our breakthrough, patented spray.
Just a few sprays a day under your tongue manages your cravings for sweet and fatty foods. Sugars and processed foods are addictive. When you stop eating them, your body rebels.

These diet symptoms have defeated you and me in the past:

  • Hunger
  • Cravings
  • Headaches
  • Crabbiness
  • Jitters
  • Achiness
  • Nausea

You know how hard it is to power through them.
Now you don’t have to.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

The ZR50 Crave Control spray is made up of plant and mineral elements called remedies. Combined, they stimulate your body to combat the effects of the detoxing you go through. Just spray it under your tongue 4 times a day. The ZR50 Crave Control spray is made from natural ingredients. It’s not a drug. It has no hormones, no caffeine, no stimulants, and won’t make you feel like a gerbil on an exercise wheel. And it’s exclusive to Plan Z. US Patent officials confirm that the Plan Z approach to alleviating the discomforts of dieting is unique and credible. This is your weight loss solution.

What About Exercise?

NO EXERCISE WHILE LOSING WEIGHT.

Exercise is great. It’s important.
But we know two things about exercise (even the medical community agrees):

Exercise will make you stronger.
It will also make you hungry.

When you are on ZReduction put your energy into enjoying the dieting experience. Those who are seriously overweight have a difficult time approaching exercise, and they take a deep sigh of relief when they realize they don’t have to exercise to lose weight.

You are not going to lose muscle mass on ZReduction.

You’re only on it for 50 days. If you don’t currently exercise, your lifestyle and routine are going to remain the same. You ARE, however, going to lose fat.

Once you lose a considerable amount of weight, you’ll actually FEEL like exercising. When you get to the ZReboot phase of Plan Z we recommend you find an exercise program that suits your lifestyle. Some tightening will occur naturally during a process we call “reshaping” but for the bigger issues, you’ll need a targeted routine.

For strength, we recommend non-impact exercise, like yoga, pilates, and weight training. Too much emphasis is placed on exercises that strain your joints and your bones. There are plenty of things you can do that don’t wear out your skeleton. And not all of them require a gym membership.

One Pot Meals

Roasted Prime Rib

When I was a kid this was served at very special meals. My mother made hers plain. I had no idea how incredibly fabulous this meat could taste until I started adding the meat rub!

Veggie Stir Fry (EASY)

This colorful dish is super simple to make. You can include whatever assortment of veggies you like. I’ll give you a list of suggested options. You can serve this with something cooked on the grill; chicken, fish, or even steak.

Thai Chicken

This dish is super easy and a one pan job if you have a cast iron pan.. Serve with green beans and eat them with your fingers if you dare...

Sloppy Joes

You could call this the “adult version” of Sloppy Joes.  It does have some ZIP to it. Don’t be intimidated by the length of the ingredients list. The recipe is worth it. And you probably have most of these ingredients in your pantry.

Cincinnati Chili (EASY)

This is a famous chili that probably should not even be called a chili. It was invented by two brothers who emigrated from Europe in the 1920’s. Of course, they lived in Cincinnati. When finished this will look sort of like chili but it’s served on spaghetti. There are no beans and it’s not spicy. It’s flavorful for sure, but not “hot.” Don’t let the list of ingredients throw you off.

Italian Sausage Soup (ZReboot Version)

This simple Italian Soup is packed with flavor and convenience. It travels well and heats in the microwave too. Leftovers are a BIG YUM.

Roasted Pork Tenderloin with Fresh Plum Sauce

A dish that is easy to make for a weekday meal, but you could also serve this to guests, and no one would guess this is diet food.

Chicken and Green Chiles Casserole

This chicken casserole will remind you of chilies Rellenos. If you like those you’ll be a big fan of this low-carb dish. Simple to put together and toss in the oven. And Voila! Dinner. I serve with slices of avocado on the side dusted with a bit of grated sea salt.

Outlaw Chili Verde

This award-winning chili recipe won best Verde Chili by the International Chili Society in 2018. "Texas Chuck," the creator of this awesome recipe, made this chili using Mild Bills Spices (in case you're trying to get his authentic flavor).

Roasted Lemon Chicken

When you are in the ZReduction portion of Plan Z you will not be eating the skin of the chicken or any of the dark meat. Breast meat only.

Beef Stew in a Dutch Oven

I’m Irish, so beef stew was a staple in our family. Trouble is there are so many carbs in most beef stew recipes. So with this recipe I have adjusted it to keep the carbs lower and introduce some other veggies that are lower carb to the mix.

Roasted Red Pepper and Beef Chili

Okay, so I opened my pantry and saw a jar of roasted red pepper strips. I thought… I could make a new chili with these! So here you have it.

Italian Sausage Soup (ZReduction Version)

This simple Italian Soup is packed with flavor and convenience. It travels well and heats in the microwave too. Leftovers are a BIG YUM.

Quick Coquilles St. Jacques (Scallops in a Creamy Mushroom-Parmesan Sauce)

I remember my first introduction to scallops like it was yesterday. As I took my first bite and swooned I knew these were to become a new favorite.

Creole Meatloaf

This is a wonderfully moist meatloaf. It has a kick from the Cajun spices but not all that much and you can adjust according to taste. This transports well to work.

Balsamic Chicken (Braised or Slow Cooker)

This is a super easy meal to make; made even easier by doing it in your slow cooker. Simple Italian.

Barbecue Meatloaf

I had a hankering for ribs. I ordered some as an appetizer at a restaurant and they just didn’t cut it. I could not get the craving out of my head, so I came up with the barbecued meatloaf recipe.  Hope you love it.

Paul’s White Fish with Sauteed Vegetables

Tasty white fish and vegetables has been a regular part of my ZReduction regimen. My favorite is starting with a 6-8 ounce mahi-mahi fillet AND a 6-8 ounce hake fillet purchased frozen in big bags at Costco. This results in a “double batch” meal with the second half going in the fridge to bring into the menu flow a day or two later.

Pizza Soup

Make this for the whole gang and watch a movie on a cold evening. You can even make a big batch of this and serve it for a football party. Tailgate too.

Sausage Chicken Gumbo

This comes together in a flash and tastes just as good as the recipes that cook for hours.

Frito Meatloaf

This meatloaf makes six servings. When you serve it, remember that your crunch item is already included, so no breadstick or crackers with this meal.

Famous Burger Meatloaf

This is a “Whopper” of a meatloaf, designed to taste like the famous burger. I hope you enjoy.

Cabbage Soup

All the ingredients spend a lot of loving time together in the pot to make an amazingly simple and flavorful soup.

Unstuffed Cabbage Rolls

Dieter Jessica made this meal on one of her first days of ZReduction. It was so delicious she wanted to share it with everyone.

Turkey or Chicken Meatloaf

For a change of pace you can try a unique meatloaf. This one comes with an optional extra sauce in case you want to really ramp up the flavor.

My Mom’s Meatloaf

This is very close to my mother's meatloaf recipe. I used to serve this with mashed potatoes and corn when I wanted comfort food. Not Anymore! I also used to say that if I ever ended up on death row and they asked me what I wanted for my last meal, this would be it. It’s such a BIG YUM and brings back fond memories.

Kickin Chicken Meatloaf

Get ready to 'kick' up your dinner with this recipe from Dieter Rebecca. She used a combination of ground chicken and Italian sausage to add an extra boost of flavor to her meatloaf. Feel free to use ground beef if that's all you have, but Rebecca really recommends trying the chicken version for a unique take on this American classic.

Steamed Salmon with Asparagus, Snow Peas, and Spinach

Thanks to Dieter Brian of WVJS Breakfast Bunch for sending us his take on a simple spring salmon recipe.

Italian Crockpot Chicken Soup

Dieter Emily sent us this easy to make crock pot weeknight recipe. Emily says, "when I came home from work, it smelled heavenly! This soup has so much flavor and is also quite filling!"

Asian Veggie Stir Fry

This dish can be served with something as simple as a grilled steak or a baked chicken breast. If you want an American-Asian combo this is the way to go. It’s also designed to be served with the seared sea scallops for a more Asian-directed entrée.

Slow Cooker Southwestern Chicken Chili

Add a kick to your weeknight meals. Just let the crock pot do the work and you'll have a South of the border dinner in a cinch.

Vegetable Soup

As the weather gets colder and the nights get longer this makes a wonderful soup. Or if you get a cold while on Plan Z this might be just the ticket!

Old-fashioned, Chunky Bolognese Sauce

I redesigned this recipe to incorporate cream to make a smooth sauce that will remind you of an old spaghetti house. Just no spaghetti.

Lemon-Roasted Turkey Breast with Ratatouille

The seasoning on the top of this turkey breast comes from a great guy in Door County named Curt. He makes his own seasoning and sells it in a store and on-line.

Everything from the Fridge Chicken Soup

Riley rocked her refrigerator to come up with this one. Riley says, "I was looking for a way to use up leftovers and winter in Nebraska is a great time for soups."

Ratatouille

Well for those unfamiliar, ratatouille is actually a really fine French vegetable dish. So easy to make!

Creole Seafood Stew

When I made this Creole stew, I used some “aristocratic” ingredients (shrimp and lump crab meat) but you can certainly make it easier on your budget by making a “Cajun” version.

Italian Seafood Stew

Seafood is often served on New Year’s Eve. In some cultures it’s a celebration that is supposed to come with good luck if you eat seafood.

Chicken Hash

A really quick healthy dinner even the kids will enjoy.

Sloppy Joes

A really simple, yet really tasty meal. This a favorite around the Zola HQ for a lunch time treat.

Kids

Baked Spinach and Artichoke Dip

Talk about comfort food. This is the pure definition. Thankfully fat doesn’t make you fat so you can eat this at parties and not feel the guilt.

Dark Chocolate Peanut Clusters

These are delightfully decadent treats. A word of CAUTION: Treat them like candy!

Roasted Pumpkin Seeds

In addition to being crunchy, satisfying and delicious, pumpkin seeds are a nutritious snack. You can buy shelled pumpkin seeds in the grocery store (also know as pepitas), but when pumpkin season rolls around, you can buy a fresh pumpkin, scrape out the seeds, and toast the whole seeds yourself. YUM!

Chicken “Chimichangas”

At first you’d think chimichangas would be high carb. The good news is they have low carb tortillas at the grocery store that taste the same as the traditional. Look for the low carb versions.

Healthy Orange Creamsicle

We have to thank Dieter Claire for inventing this recipe. She modified the fruit parfait recipe and developed a strawberry "ice cream" recipe and this recipe with frozen mandarin oranges. She says, “it’s like an orange creamsicle.” YUM!

Strawberry “Almost Ice Cream”

Dieter Claire invented this recipe by modifying the fruit parfait recipe and adding extra frozen strawberries. She says, "it's as close to ice cream as you can get." We agree.

Instant Pot Italian Chicken with Gravy

A delicious recipe submitted by Dieter Claire. Does this take longer than sautéing in a pan? Well yes, but the chicken that comes out is soooooo tender it's worth the time. We completely agree, Claire, thanks for sharing!

Hero Mommy

As I saw the interaction between mother and daughter in the grocery store I thought to myself, that mom is my hero today, and that young girl has a healthy life in her future.

Caramelized Pears (ZReboot Version)

A no sugar variation of my caramelized pears recipe. Still very yummy!

Caramelized Pears (ZReboot 3.5 Version)

Chris’s cousins sent us a HUGE box of fruit as his get well wish. There are only two of us, so in order to use the fruit I have had to get creative! Oh, my, these are yummy!

Hot Wing Dip

Most folks think of chicken wings as being a guy thing and even a sport fan thing but anyone can love this dip! I served it as a breakfast buffet item and it was hands down the dish that got the most comments and compliments. I think it was because it was so unexpected. The comments came from men and women alike but I must admit the guys were the ones who went gaga over this.

Seared and Roasted Burgers

My favorite technique for cooking low-fat burgers is to quickly sear the burger and finish it by roasting it in the oven. Here’s the recipe for seared burgers that are then oven-roasted.

BBQ Ranch Sauce (Smear) for Burgers

This will go well with beef burgers or even ground chicken breast burgers or grilled chicken breasts; even a steak.

Easy Enchiladas

This dish comes together in a flash. If you are doing beef enchiladas, I recommend red sauce. If you are doing chicken, I recommend you go wild and use a green sauce.

OJ in a Magic Bullet

Traditional orange juice is not allowed on Plan Z because when you remove all the pulp (the fiber) what's left is a whole bunch of sugar. But, if you have a magic bullet or a high-powered blender, you can enjoy a liquefied, blended orange - as long as you blend the whole orange and don't strain the pulp.

Blueberry Sauce

A delicious sauce to pair with your favorite dessert.

Cognac Truffles

If you don’t use liquor in your cooking you can leave that out. You can also flavor them with stevia flavorings. You could have coconut, vanilla or other flavors.

Roasted Lemon Chicken

When you are in the ZReduction portion of Plan Z you will not be eating the skin of the chicken or any of the dark meat. Breast meat only.

Cheeseburger Casserole

I found this recipe online. I didn’t have to do much to make it Zola. It tastes very much like a cheeseburger. The way to make it exciting though is to make sure you pile on the toppings that you like on your burger. You can feed the whole family with this and no one will miss the bun.

Devil’s Eight Legged Eggs

Here’s an idea from the Plan Z kitchen. Use this classic recipe and add a spooky twist for a hauntingly delicious Halloween snack.

Edible Witch’s Broom

An easy and interactive way to add a little magic to your meals around Halloween!

Spooky Snacks

Here's a cute idea to offer children or family members around Halloween. There are so many ways to spin this.  The best part? No candy required.

Toys for Halloween

I don’t give out candy on Halloween anymore. I give out toys!
The kids love it. They like to see something different in that basket.  When they dip in, I tell them they can pick a toy or even two. They giggle like crazy!

Dieter Claire’s Taco Seasoning

From Dieter Claire: Make this in bulk and store it in a jar. It's less expensive than taco seasoning packets and has no fillers. Plus, I can tweak the flavors to suit my family.

Sun Dried Tomatoes

No need to salt them. No need to season them. They will be delicious and have PLENTY of flavor.

Cauliflower Pancakes

The other day, potato pancakes came to mind and I they could probably be made with cauliflower. Turns out they can!

Low Carb Banana Bread

I eat very few bananas these days because as they ripen their carb count/glycemic index load goes up. So this is a treat. Don’t plan to eat the whole loaf yourself. That could get dangerous.

Blueberry Lemon Tart (Three ways with other flavors)

Change up the fruits and the flavorings and this can be several desserts. Think strawberry with almond, or orange with raspberries.

Fruit Bowl with Luscious Lemon Cream Z3.5 Version

This stuff is addictive and so refreshing. RARELY do I take seconds on a dessert. With this one I did.

Peanut Butter Craisin Granola

Craving breakfast cereal? Try this instead! Have it with unsweetened coconut milk or as a YUMMY parfait.

Chocolate Dipped Pears

Pears and chocolate go great together. Who needs candy apples when you've got these?

Pumpkin Pancakes with Pumpkin Spiced Whipped Cream

Hot off the Griddle. “Zolafied” pancakes. If you want your kids full and focused before school give them these instead of cereal.

Pinecone Cheese Ball

The pinecone idea is unique, festive and delicious. I am going to lay out a simple version and then give you suggestions for variations.

Chocolate French Silk Dessert

Chill in your refrigerator until ready to eat. If you are going to serve it the next day cover it with plastic wrap.

Chocolate Cupcakes

These cupcakes are courtesy of Plan Z dieter Ashley, a professional pastry chef. She has done an amazing job of coming up with these cupcakes.

Pumpkin Cake with Cream Cheese Frosting

This is a quick cake that can be served at a party. You don’t need large pieces when something has as much flavor as this does. Pumpkin treats are a big hit in the Fall and over the holidays.

Sea Salt Crusted Snap Peas

A variation of my sea salt crusted snow peas recipe - but with snap peas!

Fruit Bowl with Luscious Lemon Cream Z3 Version

This stuff is addictive and so refreshing. RARELY do I take seconds on a dessert. With this one I did.

Luscious Lemon Cream

So light and decadent - YUM! Serve with fruit, or any other dessert for extra special deliciousness.

Italian Pie Crust Calzone

Once your weight has solidly stabilized you can handle something like this; just not every day.

Bacon Avocado Toast

Making avocado toast is a very free-form exercise. You can build it the way you want to; that's what makes it so easy - and delicious!

Strawberry Milkshake

I think this makes a beautiful, refreshing dessert. If you can’t get fresh strawberries go ahead and use frozen. Slices are best so they don’t get caught in the blender. For a special occasion top it with whipped cream!

Chocolate Ganache

Sinfully delicious...with only three ingredients.

Fruit Smoothie

This smoothie recipe is a great breakfast drink for those on the go. It is also a great mid-afternoon snack for those who want to get more calories in ZReboot. It even makes a great dessert!

Fluffy, No Bake Lemon Cheesecake

I came up with this recipe as a tribute to Dieter Ron and his wife Jean. This darling couple drove from Wisconsin to Chicago just to meet me and my team.

Chicken Verde

This is going to taste just like a traditional enchilada without the tortilla. If you have Mexican food fans in your family this is a hit!

Peach Parfait

The parfait is a serious twist on a Cooking Light recipe I came across, so I need to give them credit but I also wanted you to know it's light and rather healthy.

Snacks

Baked Spinach and Artichoke Dip

Talk about comfort food. This is the pure definition. Thankfully fat doesn’t make you fat so you can eat this at parties and not feel the guilt.

Colorful Peppers with Zip

Things like peppers are popular at Italian little plates restaurants. I’m offering you a recipe for mine here. Mine have a bit of an after-burner kick to them.

Balsamic-Roasted Exotic Mushrooms with a White Truffle Olive Oil Glaze

I ordered this dish at a restaurant in town. It was so good I said, “I have to figure out how to make this myself!” It was that wonderful.

Chive Butter Biscuits

This is a combination of a few recipes I found. Love the fact that these are low carb and tasty!

Dark Chocolate Peanut Clusters

These are delightfully decadent treats. A word of CAUTION: Treat them like candy!

Cheddar Cheesy Poof Biscuits or Crackers

LOVE these cheesy bits for an appetizer. They go great while you are sipping your wine.

Mango Summer Salad

Can’t get any easier than this. Toss all of the ingredients in a bowl and serve with your protein hot off the grill!

Puff Pastry Cocktail Cheese Straws

Puff Pastry Cocktail Cheese Straws are the perfect party appetizer! One that goes great with strolling drinks. Drink in one hand, cheese straw in the other.

Fireside Shrimp Dip

I found a recipe very similar to this one about 15 years in an old Southern cookbook. I have made a few changes to “Zola-fy” it. This goes over BIG at any party, and it's so simple!

Italian Shrimp Cocktail

This is what I call cheating when I’m in a hurry. I use my favorite bottled Italian dressing as the marinade and everyone thinks I put so much effort into this really pretty dish.

YUM!

Shrimp in a French Lemon White Wine Cream Sauce

This is an elegant meal you can serve to company or even just for a romantic meal at home. I served this with haricot vert (roasted French green beans). That kept the meal totally low carb.

Southern Tomato Pie

Two things I love about living mid-South: fried green tomatoes, and tomato pie.

Egg Drop Soup

This soup is a staple at Chinese restaurants. It is filling, delicate and delicious. Unfortunately, one of the ingredients in most restaurant egg drop soup recipes is MSG. The recipe below is an MSG-free version of the traditional classic, so it won't taste exactly the same, but we think it's just as delicious.

Lois’ Green Salsa Verde with Tomatillos

A spicy and refreshing salsa can jazz up any dish. Dieter Lois shared this recipe for her ZReduction-friendly salsa verde. She whipped up a batch to put over her eggs, but this would be good on just about anything.

Dave’s Grilled Anaheim Peppers

This recipe was submitted by dieter Dave, who is an avid gardener and serious grill-master. He grows his own peppers and likes this recipe because it is so simple - and always delicious. Even though this recipe calls for Anaheim peppers, you can use any type of pepper that suits your fancy.

Crab-Stuffed Mushrooms

My husband found this recipe and made it for me. It was delicious! I hope you enjoy it as much as we did.

Shrimp Scampi (ZReboot Version)

What will take the longest with this dish is peeling and taking the shells off the shrimp. You want fresh shrimp though and I’ll teach you how to boil down the shells to make it super-tasty. A deeper flavor is the bonus.

Waldorf Salad

A traditional Waldorf salad has grapes or raisins and lots of walnuts -- but it doesn’t have to. This one worked great as a side dish. Be sure to cut your fruit portion for this meal in half.

Grilled Romaine

Okay, don’t freak on me. Grilled romaine is really good and tastes better than it looks. Impress your guests with something they’ve probably never had before.

Celery Apple Salad

The inspiration for this recipe came from a new one offered up by Bon Appetit. I must give them some of the credit. I changed it enough to make it my own, but the original is in a cookbook by Molly Baz called Cook this Book.

Tuna Salad

Dieter Sarah eats tuna salad to help her lose weight on ZReduction. This is her "magic" recipe.

Oven Roasted Okra

This delicious recipe was submitted by dieter Nicole. She served it with pork chops and roasted tomatoes. Thanks, Nicole for the inspired dish!

Smoked Salmon Salad

Since leafy greens are unlimited you can double (or triple) the amount of greens used in this recipe if you want to make it stretch.

Sun Dried Tomatoes

No need to salt them. No need to season them. They will be delicious and have PLENTY of flavor.

The Secret Slaw

Try this Zolafied coleslaw recipe and you'll never go hunting for the secret Chick-Fil-A recipe again.

Cauliflower Pancakes

The other day, potato pancakes came to mind and I they could probably be made with cauliflower. Turns out they can!

Shrimp Salad

This comes together in a FLASH. When it’s hot outside and you want something easy but on the gourmet side, this hits the spot.

Oven Bacon

Maybe this is not news to you, but it took me six decades to learn about oven bacon. In our family, my husband has always been the bacon maker. He’s great at getting it perfectly crispy.

Caramelized Onion Pie

Caramelizing onions makes the natural sugars in the onion come to the forefront. No more bold onion taste. Just dreamy flavor.

Peanut Butter Craisin Granola

Craving breakfast cereal? Try this instead! Have it with unsweetened coconut milk or as a YUMMY parfait.

Sweet and Spicy Acorn Squash

I love my acorn squash roasted with just butter in the center and a sprinkle of sea salt and pepper. But I know tons of people want brown sugar in the middle and more. So this version can satisfy the sweet tooth and add an optional spice/heat factor.

Italian Sausage, Mushroom and Cheese Brunch Casserole

As far as brunch casseroles go, this one is very easy to make and pleases the crowd. It can be made ahead and heated the day of the party.

Pinecone Cheese Ball

The pinecone idea is unique, festive and delicious. I am going to lay out a simple version and then give you suggestions for variations.

“Chex Mix” Nuts

These nuts taste eerily like the ones in the famous Chex Mix only I left off the Chex and the pretzels. They were a huge hit!

Sea Salt Crusted Snap Peas

A variation of my sea salt crusted snow peas recipe - but with snap peas!

Russian Traditional Salad

This delicious recipe was submitted by Plan Z dieter Bruce. Bruce says, "We saw this sixteen years ago on a trip to visit our daughter in-law. They keep it from day to day and just add to it when more is needed."

Cinnamon Tangerines

This simple recipe is the latest from the Zola Test Kitchen. Try these! I got some really juicy tangerines (that were very easy to peel) at the grocery store yesterday.

Monster Mouths

A ghoulish (and healthy) Halloween snack idea.

Corn Dip

I came up with this recipe at the end of summer. I took what I call an “inspiration” recipe and Zolified it so we can enjoy it. It’s really tasty.

Z3.5: Beverages

Cranberry Champagne Cocktail

Just in time for the big party on New Year’s Eve. This cocktail is good anytime but especially when celebrating something big. Those of you old enough will remember champagne cocktails were big in the 50’s. I’m reviving them and taking out the sugar!

Sangria

A refreshing Z3.5 approved sangria to share with friends.

Cucumber Martini

We've shared our secret with you about infusing your water with cucumber now try it in this cool garden party cocktail.

Lemon Fizz

Like an adult version of summer lemonade this drink will refresh and sparkle.

Zola’s Fresh and Golden Margarita

Today is National Margarita Day and in true traditional for those of you in ZReboot 3.5 or ZLife here is Zola’s preferred blend.

Z3: Beverages

Zola’s Favorite Breakfast Smoothie

On the go? Need something quick that will keep you full and focused while you rush off to work or to do errands? Use your Bullet Blender to whip this up.

Pumpkin Pie Smoothie

What a great idea! Dieter Cindy thought of this when her daughter had a Culver’s Pumpkin Spice Frozen Custard. She craved one, too so she came up with this healthy alternative.

Cinnamon Pear Infused Water

I discovered cinnamon water in Costa Rica. Try adding pear slices – it makes a wonderful summer treat.

Bloody Mary Mocktail Mix

The virgin Bloody Mary mocktail is full of flavor and tastes just like the real thing - just without the alcohol.

Collagen Fruit Smoothie

Collagen protein powder is not cheap but the health benefits are HUGE.

Coconut Milk Eggnog & Double Cream Eggnog

I tinkered with several eggnog recipes to come up with two that you can make for your holiday. The first one is a coconut milk version.

Strawberry Milkshake

I think this makes a beautiful, refreshing dessert. If you can’t get fresh strawberries go ahead and use frozen. Slices are best so they don’t get caught in the blender. For a special occasion top it with whipped cream!

Fruit Smoothie

This smoothie recipe is a great breakfast drink for those on the go. It is also a great mid-afternoon snack for those who want to get more calories in ZReboot. It even makes a great dessert!

Simple Sangria

Refreshing and beautiful. This can be made with red wine, white wine, or I like the look of the rosé.

Whiskey Sour

I used to love whiskey sours made with frozen lemonade and Canadian Club. This is my new substitute.

Cocoa-Fruit Superfood Smoothie

Adding the almond butter and peanut butter makes it smooth and delicious. Almost a chocolate peanut butter cup, but exceedingly good for you.

Low Carb Bloody Mary

Standard garnish is a celery stick, which serves as a stirrer as well. A crispy piece of bacon will work, too.

Sazarec Cocktail

Traditional to New Orleans. This is a strong cocktail. I call it a brown martini. Very unique taste.

Low Carb Mojito

Your recipe today is a low carb, tropical cocktail. You can serve this in a hurricane glass and feel all tropical.

Smoky-Orange Margarita Cocktail

I like to call this drink a sunset in a glass. It's smoky, it's refreshing, and it's a perfect sipper to kick back with at the end of the work day.

Irish Coffee – “Zolafied Version”

Celebrate St. Patrick's day the Zola way! Wake up with this deliciously creamy and slightly boozy coffee concoction.

Raspberry Yogurt Smoothie

As we endeavor to eat healthy but we are still on the run, I thought this quick and tasty smoothie might hit the spot. I often drink one of these at my desk at work.

Sparkle Martini

If you are a vodka martini drinker or a Cosmopolitan drinker this might be your next new martini. This is a perfect winter drink made with clementines. It’s not for the faint of heart though. This definitely has a kick.

Peachy Orange Slush

This is a Z3 recipe was contributed by Plan Z dieter Nancy. She's a true Plan Z Veteran dieter!

Southern French Kiss

This is a dessert drink for a splurge. Many order a White Russian for an after dinner drink. This is a different treat I came up with recently. My new favorite.

Z2: Beverages

Dieter Cindy’s Mocha Mix

Dieter Cindy developed this recipe while looking for ZReduction-friendly beverages. She now makes it in batches so she can just pull out a tsp of "mix" and add the coffee & cream. Even her coworkers love it. We love it too!

Strawberry “Almost Ice Cream”

Dieter Claire invented this recipe by modifying the fruit parfait recipe and adding extra frozen strawberries. She says, "it's as close to ice cream as you can get." We agree.

Green Apple Protein Smoothie

I am a HUGE fan of Collagen Protein so that’s what’s in here that will keep you full and focused until your next meal.

Sweet Tea (the no sugar way)

The good news is you can have your sweet tea and drink it, too. I’ve come up with a new recipe and had it rated and perfected at a party at my home last night.

Pumpkin Spiced Coffee

The commercials are everywhere in the fall. Pumpkin this and pumpkin that. Starbucks is famous for their pumpkin spiced latte but you should try this, which is minus all those carbs.

Fruit & Protein Smoothie

This is an easy and nutrient dense option for our dieters on the go!

Orange – Vanilla Water

If you miss soda but know in your heart that it’s bad for you, try a recipe like this one.

Cucumber Lemonade

This is a more exotic lemonade but a refreshing one. You’ll feel fancy drinking this.

No Sugar Lemonade

I would not drink this all day while on ZReduction, but a couple of glasses should be fine.

Raspberry Grapefruit Sparkler

This is a drink you can make in a pitcher and enjoy all during ZReduction. I don’t usually like grapefruit at all, but LaCroix makes a grapefruit fizzy water that is just delightful. I use it to make this drink or I drink it plain over ice too.

Refreshing Summer Lemonade

A perfect way to cool down over the hot 4th of July weekend. Here’s everything you need to make a refreshing carbonated lemonade or limeade; depending on which way you choose to go.

Chai Latte

Plan Z Dieter, Randy, was missing his morning chai latte. Zola helped him to create a Plan Z friendly version. Wake up and smile as you start your day with this fragrant, sweetly spiced morning drink

Strawberry Spiced Shake

A cool treat for a dessert drink.

Frozen Lemon-Limeade

If you blend this with ice you get a nice frozen drink to sip on.

Blueberry Shots

Serve in small glasses and you’ll feel like you are having a very sophisticated after dinner drink.

Cranberry Lime Iced Tea

Perfect for ZReduction. This iced tea makes you feel special.

Redneck Mojitos

This refreshing recipe was submitted by Plan Z dieter Debbie. It's a nice treat on a hot summer day. Thanks Debbie!

Cinnamon Water

People on Plan Z who drink 100 - 125 oz of water per day lose 30% more than those who drink less than 70 oz.

Creme Soda

When in a restaurant, order a glass of plain club soda and keep your stevia with you. You can make your own cream soda on the spot!

Z3.5: Desserts

Cranberry Royale (EASY)

This is a takeoff of a cranberry bake recipe from Southern Living. This is homey, tasty, and not too sweet. Just a little cranberry twang but plenty of sweetness in the apples.

Chocolate Liqueur Pots de Crème

When I made it the other night one dinner guest declared it “Birthday Cake Good.” Which means...who needs birthday cake when you can eat this kind of Big YUM stuff!

Caramelized Pears (ZReboot 3.5 Version)

Chris’s cousins sent us a HUGE box of fruit as his get well wish. There are only two of us, so in order to use the fruit I have had to get creative! Oh, my, these are yummy!

Lemon Curd

Lemon curd is the perfect spring and summer dessert ingredient. You can serve this very simply by dipping cookies in it or use it like icing dividing layers of a cake. I like to make a tart or even mini-tarts.

No Bake Shortbread Cookie Crust

I am a huge fan of English shortbread. When I traveled a lot in England on business, the hotel usually left a package or two by the coffee maker. I used to make that my little breakfast while I worked at the desk.

Pumpkin or Sweet Potato Bread

Everyone loves pumpkin, right? Well, how about a tea bread that’s made with pumpkin? Sort of like banana bread. Or even make it with sweet potato puree.

Low Carb Berry Coffee Cake

For breakfast in the morning or with a cup of tea in the afternoon, this low carb coffee cake hits the spot. I made mine with blueberries fresh from the garden, but most berries will work.

Banana Peanut Butter Bars

The best news is Bob’s Mill has come out with a “superfine” grind almond flour. It makes baked goods so tasty you’d hardly tell the difference.

Rustic Cherry Tart

This cherry tart is so easy and it’s fancy enough to serve at a dinner party.

Eggnog Cheesecake with Gingerbread crust

Most often a cheesecake like this has a crust made out of gingersnaps. I’m making mine this way and you’ll swear you’re eating a gingerbread crust without all the sugar.

Nut Crust

This gives you a crunchy bottom similar to a graham cracker crust.

Lemon Mousse Torte

This is light, fluffy and super smooth. For a “fancy” dessert, this one is easy to make. Just take your time and follow the directions. You’ll need a few pieces of equipment too but nothing super expensive.

Brownies “Palmer House Style”

This is a VERY old recipe… in fact, this is the FIRST recipe for brownies. Brownies were first invented at The Palmer House Hotel in 1893. So these won’t be like the ones in a box mix.

Strawberry Rhubarb Crisp

My version here is perfect for ZReboot 3.5 and ZLife, sweetened with stevia, and you have your options of flour to make the crumbly aspect of it.

Lemon Coconut Pound Cake

I made this for my husband’s birthday. This makes 33 different lemon desserts since I met him. His favorite flavor is lemon… could you guess?

Z3: Desserts

Creamy Dreamy Lemon Bars

My husband’s favorite dessert flavor is lemon. These hit his tart meter for sure! They taste divine and have no sugar and no gluten. Your friends and family won’t need to know these aren’t “bad” for you!

Dark Chocolate Peanut Clusters

These are delightfully decadent treats. A word of CAUTION: Treat them like candy!

Pumpkin Spiced Pecans

These sweet and spicy nuts are perfect for snacking, make a great salad topper or adding a special something to your favorite desserts.

Caramelized Pears (ZReboot Version)

A no sugar variation of my caramelized pears recipe. Still very yummy!

Lemon Bars

I found a recipe online for keto lemon bars. I "Zolafied them" and made them for a party. Wow.

Lemon Brownies

I found a classic Southern Living recipe and took out all the sugar. These are amazing – even if I do say so myself!

Cognac Truffles

If you don’t use liquor in your cooking you can leave that out. You can also flavor them with stevia flavorings. You could have coconut, vanilla or other flavors.

Peach Blueberry Slab Pie

One piece of advice on this recipe, eat it fast. That means invite some folks over and try to polish this off in one seating.

White Chocolate Crème Brulee (custard) with Strawberry Coulis (sauce)

Most crème brulee recipes call for caramelizing sugar on top of the custard. I love that, but the sugar is too much. So, in this case, I made up a simple strawberry sauce to go on the top instead.

Chocolate Dipped Pears

Pears and chocolate go great together. Who needs candy apples when you've got these?

Chocolate French Silk Dessert

Chill in your refrigerator until ready to eat. If you are going to serve it the next day cover it with plastic wrap.

Fruit Bowl with Luscious Lemon Cream Z3 Version

This stuff is addictive and so refreshing. RARELY do I take seconds on a dessert. With this one I did.

Strawberry Milkshake

I think this makes a beautiful, refreshing dessert. If you can’t get fresh strawberries go ahead and use frozen. Slices are best so they don’t get caught in the blender. For a special occasion top it with whipped cream!

3 Ingredient Peanut Butter Cookies

These cookies are SOOOO good. And no flour! Just be careful what peanut butter you buy and be sure to order the sweetener ahead so you are prepared to bake and eat.

Pecan Pie

This pie comes together easily, and your family will never know they aren’t eating the usual pecan pie pile of sugar.

Sugar Cookie Wedges

At a dinner party you can cut this into wedges and serve them on little dessert plates. My guests commented on how GREAT it was to be given a small dessert instead of the traditional, large one.

Bittersweet Chocolate Torte

I hope you will like this recipe as much as we did.

Monster Mouths

A ghoulish (and healthy) Halloween snack idea.

Z2: Desserts

Strawberry Smoosh

Strawberry Smoosh is my husband's FAVORITE ZReduction dessert. How could I have been so lax? I'm almost ashamed! Here's the recipe for all to enjoy!

Raspberry Gelee

For those of you old enough to remember the Jello product that formed 3 layers you’ll know exactly what this tastes like and actually includes REAL raspberries!

Patriotic Cherries

To make this dish “patriotic’ all you need to do is add blueberries and you have a red and blue dessert. You don’t need to feel left out of the holiday celebration just because you’re on a diet. Yours will be just as colorful and tasty as anything else being served.

Blueberry Sauce

A delicious sauce to pair with your favorite dessert.

Raspberry “Ice Cream”

Dieter Margaret offered up a GREAT idea! I scream. You scream. We all scream for ice cream – and we are on a diet! BONUS!

Raspberry Pate de Fruit (Raspberry Jellies) from Chef Josh

These are delightful little jellies. They taste so French and so fresh! Not like those little gum-balls you can buy at the candy store.

Cinnamon Tangerines

This simple recipe is the latest from the Zola Test Kitchen. Try these! I got some really juicy tangerines (that were very easy to peel) at the grocery store yesterday.

Zola Pops

This recipe was contributed by Plan Z dieter Amy from Chicago. Good thinking, Amy! Great idea!

Rhubarb Bumbleberry Dessert

In spring I always get a hankering for rhubarb. My mother used to plant it and I loved picking it in the warm sun. Usually I’d make a rhubarb strawberry crisp but on ZReduction that’s out of the cards. So I had an idea to mix the rhubarb idea with the Canadian idea of a bumbleberry pie.

Raspberry Coulis

Raspberry coulis is often used by dessert chefs to decorate your dessert at a restaurant. They put a swirl of it on your plate or maybe drizzle it over the top of the dessert. You can be fancy or plain as you wish.

Grilled Peaches

I adapted this recipe for Plan Z from one of Bobby Flay’s ideas. I love a good grilled peach in the summer. Even if you have a crowd over for a barbecue you can grill up a bunch of these in a jiffy and everyone will enjoy a healthy dessert.

Fruit Parfait

This is a must try, a wonderfully light and healthy dessert.

Fresh Berry Pie Filling

This makes a super simple dessert that tastes so authentic. This can work for ZReduction or you can add the crust and make tarts or a pie. This is hometown-feelin’ food. This can also be made with raspberries or a combo that can include blueberries too

Ricotta Cream with Strawberry Compote

Aka VP Anger's 65th Birthday Dessert. This super-simple, light and dreamy dessert is easy enough for a weeknight treat and fancy enough to serve to a dinner party.

Orange-Strawberry Dessert

Combining the tartness of strawberries with the citrusy tang of oranges, try this creation for a refreshing and super simple dessert.

Southern Peach “Pie”

I call this “pie” because it tastes like the middle of a peach pie; just no crust. I call it Southern because the Southerners are known for putting cinnamon and nutmeg in their peach pie recipes.

Winter Apple “Pie”

Spice up your holidays without losing a step on Plan Z with this comforting winter-inspired recipe.

Apple “Popcorn” with Toppings

Going to the theatre or the movies? Pack this in a zippered baggie. The crunching of the apple won’t be any louder than the crunching of the popcorn. It’s a BIG YUM.

Z3.5: Sides & Veggies

Chive Butter Biscuits

This is a combination of a few recipes I found. Love the fact that these are low carb and tasty!

Dauphinoise Potatoes (aka Potato Gratin)

This is a wonderful potato casserole from the southeast part of France. Works great on a buffet too if you like room temp potatoes or have a chafing dish. For the LOWEST glycemic index, make this dish the day before you serve it.

Caramelized Leek Mashed Potatoes

These have been the most popular mashed potatoes at my table. People don't often remark about the mashed potatoes. They usually save the raves for dessert. This potato dish is a major hit.

Puff Pastry Cocktail Cheese Straws

Puff Pastry Cocktail Cheese Straws are the perfect party appetizer! One that goes great with strolling drinks. Drink in one hand, cheese straw in the other.

Southern Tomato Pie

Two things I love about living mid-South: fried green tomatoes, and tomato pie.

Sweet Potatoes with a Butter Pecan Crust

If your family is open to going beyond that marshmallow sweet potato concoction this will surely be a HIT!

Irish Champ

Popular with the northern Irish this is a lovely, easy mashed potato dish. This dish is served year-round and is simple to make.

French Scalloped Potatoes

Potatoes can be dangerous to your weight if eaten too often or too much in one sitting. The good news is if you make the dish early in the day or the day before and refrigerate it they become what is called resistant carbs. That means they digest slower in your system so your blood sugar does not spike nearly as much.

Creamed Orzo with Leeks and Parmesan

Orzo is a wonderful, tiny pasta. This is the most requested side dish recipe I get from dinner guests–but watch your portion size. Enjoy!

Potatoes Brabant – Air Fryer

Potatoes Brabant are super-easy to make in an air fryer. The dusting of grated Parmesan cheese helps keep the glycemic uptake down so your blood sugar won’t spike.

Caramelized Onion Pie

Caramelizing onions makes the natural sugars in the onion come to the forefront. No more bold onion taste. Just dreamy flavor.

Cheesy Hash Browns with Sour Cream

This is perfect for a buffet table. Everyone will rave about your contribution. If you want to keep the portions lower, consider serving this with a smaller spoon.

Butternut Squash Puree by Chef Josh

Cooking does not have to be complicated. In this recipe Chef Josh shows us how to make a simple and delicious puree using butternut squash. Easy. Decadent. Delicious.

Ham and Cheesy Scalloped Potato Casserole

You know you’re going to eat them sometime. Potatoes that is. I just hope you’ll only do it on special occasions.

Bacon Avocado Toast

Making avocado toast is a very free-form exercise. You can build it the way you want to; that's what makes it so easy - and delicious!

Fingerling Potatoes

The smaller the potato the less glycemic uptake it produces. That means your blood sugar doesn’t shoot up as fast or as far. That said, all potatoes do have a significant amount of carbs.

Exotic Peach Relish with Your Choice of Protein

This peach relish tastes a bit on the Indian-side. I had mine with salmon but you could serve it over chicken or pork, too. Plus it tastes fancy enough for company.

Potatoes Brabant (Zola Style)

I don’t eat potatoes very often but these are worth the splurge a few times a year. The yellow potatoes they are made from in my recipe are lower in carbohydrates than a Russet potato, so that’s a bonus, too.

Roasted Red Potatoes with Onions and Balsamic Vinegar

Easy and delicious roasted red potatoes, with onions and balsamic vinegar! These are great on a buffet served hot or room temp. I use them for cocktail parties too.

BBQ Bean Hash

When I was a kid my father traveled a lot. When he was gone, sometimes my mom would let us just fry up some hamburger meat and add a can of Campbell’s baked beans. We called it bean hash. I loved it.

Z3: Sides & Veggies

Green Bean Casserole

Just like the one your mom made, only healthier. Everyone loves the green bean casserole. Here I'll show you one one that doesn't take much longer to make and it’s real food, not processed!

Dauphinoise Potatoes (aka Potato Gratin)

This is a wonderful potato casserole from the southeast part of France. Works great on a buffet too if you like room temp potatoes or have a chafing dish. For the LOWEST glycemic index, make this dish the day before you serve it.

My Best-Ever Stuffed Mushrooms

Just in time for football season or any other partying event. These won’t last long on your platter.

Chef Jernard’s Holiday Collard Greens

Celebrity Chef Jernard Wells knows soul food. While a lot of his food is quite decadent, he also loves greens, and shared his wonderful southern greens recipe in a local interview. What's great about it is it can easily be modified to fit ZReboot. His original recipe calls for sugar, but by replacing the sugar with your favorite sugar substitute, you can still enjoy this delicious recipe.

Creamy Leek and Onion Casserole

This is a decadent side dish. When I serve it, people at the table often ask me why this tastes so unique, so we play “guess the secret ingredient”…. Answer is the nutmeg. This dish goes well at dinner parties and holiday celebrations. It makes a perfect side dish for your upcoming holiday dinner.

Cheddar Cheesy Poof Biscuits or Crackers

LOVE these cheesy bits for an appetizer. They go great while you are sipping your wine.

Butternut Squash Mash

Just in time for the holidays or anytime! If you have a hankering for potatoes this will give you the same texture in your mouth and a party on your tongue! Choose the squash every time and change the traditions in your family for the better.

Roasted Carrots

Roast carrots are easy to make and taste good every time. If you can splurge on fresh herbs, it will be well worth it.

Caramelized Brussels Sprouts with Pepperoni Bits (or Bacon)

Another Happy Healthy Holidays classic. This is so easy it almost feels like cheating.

Melon Mandarin Salad

A tasty fruit salad that is a breeze to make and a unique way to round out a meal.

Creamed Onions with Raisins

This is one of my husband’s favorite holiday recipes.

Exotic Egg Salad

This is great as a light lunch time meal and a great holiday recipe. The juxtaposition of the sweeter apricots with the curry has the exotic taste I was looking for.

Z2: Sides & Veggies

Zola-fied Berghoff Spinach

The Berghoff is a famous Chicago restaurant. Their creamed spinach is an institution in itself. This is my ZReduction version.

Brussels Sprouts with a Balsamic Drizzle

This is such a versatile side dish it goes well with any type of protein.

Roasted Fennel

Fennel has a distinct flavor, but when it's roasted, the flavor mellows. If you like fennel, this recipe is great, and it's very easy to make.

Dieter Brenda’s Sautéed Cabbage

Cabbage is one of the foods that's unlimited on ZReduction, so it's the perfect food to nosh on when you're hungry between meals. Dieter Brenda sent us this versatile cabbage recipe, and it's scrumptious. Eat it with dinner, or as a snack. Or, add a sliced onion and use it as a substitution for noodles that’s healthy and delicious. Or, try adding chicken broth and your favorite seasoning to turn this a brothy side or a simple soup.

Air Fryer Green Beans

Dieter Debbie has mastered air fried veggies on ZReduction, and shared this with the Plan Z Facebook group. It's simple, and delicious and can be ready in a jiffy. We're posting it here for everyone to enjoy. Thank you, Debbie!

Blistered Tomatoes

Sometimes the simplest things are the best. I am offering up two options for grilled veggies.

Sesame Kale

This recipe was submitted by Plan Z coach, Pearl. She loves kale and makes this recipe often.

Grilled Romaine

Okay, don’t freak on me. Grilled romaine is really good and tastes better than it looks. Impress your guests with something they’ve probably never had before.

Oven Roasted Okra

This delicious recipe was submitted by dieter Nicole. She served it with pork chops and roasted tomatoes. Thanks, Nicole for the inspired dish!

Grilled Eggplant

I have decided the grilled Chinese eggplant tastes better than potato chips! Even better than French fries! And it’s so easy.

Mediterranean Cucumber Salad

This simple salad can be prepared in minutes and offers a light flavor, a bright bowl full of color and cool crunch on a warm day!

Russian Traditional Salad

This delicious recipe was submitted by Plan Z dieter Bruce. Bruce says, "We saw this sixteen years ago on a trip to visit our daughter in-law. They keep it from day to day and just add to it when more is needed."

Italian Green Bean Salad

This is a fun, colorful side dish to a plain piece of meat. This goes together so fast! You can even make it in the morning and finish assembly just before dinner.

Roasted Garlic

You could also add some of this roasted garlic to a batch of cooked green beans or asparagus for a nice flavor combo.

Exotic Peach Relish With Your Choice of Protein

This peach relish tastes a bit on the Indian-side. I had mine with salmon but you could serve it over chicken or pork, too. Plus it tastes fancy enough for company.

Sauteed Spinach

Since spinach is an unlimited, you can have as much as you like. It doesn't count towards your veggie portion which means you can have this and another veggie, too. YUM!

Garlic Rubbed Roasted Cabbage Steaks

If you love cabbage, you are going to freak out about how good this is. All we can say about this recipe is that if you hate cabbage this meal might convert you!

Zippy Scallion Onion Salad

This recipe is designed for your barbecue needs. Of course you can eat it with anything but I had the Korean BBQ Sauce in mind when I paired these up. The Korean sauce is sort of sweet and then this is zippy.

Z3.5: Entrees

Creamy Tomato Basil Tortellini (EASY)

This is, hands down, my favorite new dish in 2024. Yes it’s a pasta dish but you can splurge once in awhile as long as you don’t eat too much of the pasta. The trick with this one is to get a lot of satisfaction out of the zucchini, the lovely tomato sauce and the basil. I only eat 6 or 7 tortellini blobs and I cut them in half as I eat them. That makes them last longer and you feel like you got to eat more of them.

Dauphinoise Potatoes (aka Potato Gratin)

This is a wonderful potato casserole from the southeast part of France. Works great on a buffet too if you like room temp potatoes or have a chafing dish. For the LOWEST glycemic index, make this dish the day before you serve it.

Mango Chicken Curry

Lovers of Indian food are going to go ga-ga for this meal! And it comes together in 30 minutes or less. It’s totally delicious.

Caramelized Leek Mashed Potatoes

These have been the most popular mashed potatoes at my table. People don't often remark about the mashed potatoes. They usually save the raves for dessert. This potato dish is a major hit.

Thai Chicken

This dish is super easy and a one pan job if you have a cast iron pan.. Serve with green beans and eat them with your fingers if you dare...

Pork Tenderloin Sandwiches with Amazing BBQ Sauce

I have to say I “woofed” my dinner! I have never said that in my life, but I found this sandwich to be incredible! My husband took seconds on the sauce before he even took a bite of his sandwich!

Rotisserie Chicken Tacos

In a hurry to make dinner? These tacos are quick and easy. Depending on how much preparation you do in advance, this dish can meet that goal in 15 – 25 minutes!

Shrimp Tacos with Lime Crema

These taste so fresh!  They remind me of the best tacos I had in Cancun.

Chicken “Chimichangas”

At first you’d think chimichangas would be high carb. The good news is they have low carb tortillas at the grocery store that taste the same as the traditional. Look for the low carb versions.

Grilled Asian Salmon

When my husband is in the mood for Asian food, this is his favorite dish: It’s a super easy dish, so it doesn’t take much to talk me into it.

Southern Tomato Pie

Two things I love about living mid-South: fried green tomatoes, and tomato pie.

Creamy, Cheesy, Garlicky Shrimp

This dish tastes very much like Shrimp Scampi that you might order in an Italian restaurant. The addition of cheese takes it over the top in terms of BIG YUM.

Pan-Seared Sea Scallops with Zucchini, Baby Bok Choy and Cherry Tomatoes

This dish is both spicy and sweet. I made it on the less spicy side for my current tastes but it’s easy to have a jar of cracked red pepper flakes handy for those who want to add some to the final dish to make it “hotter.”

Shrimp Scampi (ZReboot 3.5 Version)

This is a classic Italian dish. The one you order at Olive Garden will have WAY more pasta than this dish will have. That’s okay. The shrimp are the real star of this dish. Plus, you’ll be better off without all that starch.

Easy Enchiladas

This dish comes together in a flash. If you are doing beef enchiladas, I recommend red sauce. If you are doing chicken, I recommend you go wild and use a green sauce.

Beef Enchiladas

This version of our enchilada offerings does include a tortilla. It’s not a large one and we over-stuff it so we keep the carbs down. It should fill you up. If you do a few taco chips and salsa and guacamole, one enchilada should be enough for your meal.

Mexican Dinner Salad

On a hot day, this salad is a winner. It comes together quickly. You don’t even have to turn on the oven (if you have a grill).
